Liz Earle Clean & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser
It’s another British invasion! I recently wrote about the array of beauty lines coming out of Great Britain. Now, we can replace our cleansers with one incredible product: Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser ($24.50, 3.3 oz.). Liz Earle is a skincare line founded in 1995 based on the philosophy of simple, affordable products for all skin types with quality ingredients.
Cleanse & Polish is a two-step cleanser with eucalyptus, cocoa butter, beeswax, chamomile, rosemary and other nutrients for the skin. First, you apply the oil free, foam cleanser to dry skin. This can be a little strange because we are so used to combining cleanser with water to skin. Then, you rinse the muslin cloth under warm water to wash the cream off your face, followed by a splash of cold water. Cleanse & Polish is slightly more potent than a traditional cleanser, but not as harsh as an exfoliant with the results of microdermabrasion. Your skin is left supple and radiant.
It took some getting used to applying a cleanser to dry skin, but Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish makes other cleansers pale in comparison. Not to mention the countless industry awards this little product has won.
