You never miss a good thing until it’s gone. Luckily for me, it came back! . These four gentlemen, Q, Mike, Slim and Daron have released their sixth studio album after 12 years. They are Bad Boy Royalty and still well respected for being a talented group from one of the best eras in  R&B music, the 90s.

112 stepped on the scene in 1996, and have consistently made hits. If you need refreshing just listen to “Only You,” “Cupid,” and “Peaches and Cream,” which were on heavy radio rotation from here to the UK. It was a great time in R&B, but a lot of groups never maintained the same consistency. Bad Boy artists always delivered, and 112 played their part undoubtedly.

112 always aim to please, and with their music I find myself right back in my teens all over again. Room 112 and Part 3 have songs that will never be forgotten in the R&B world

Q, Mike, Slim, Daron takes us right back without a glitch. “Dangerous Games” is classic 112. Slim has the smoothest vocals and effortlessly starts the track. The lyrics are clever and quickly showcase the song’s title. Love isn’t something to play with. One of my top 3 “Without You,” is R&B to the fullest. I played it over and over after the first play. It makes me realize what they did for music and how we need it back. I’m all for evolution, but the foundation is essential.

“Come Over” is sexy. It sets the mood and also sounds like signature 112. It could go on any album they’ve released and you would think you missed it. The writing is impeccable. I’m still jamming to “Still Got It” at this very moment and hoping they make a video. I hope this encourages you to check them out. Artists from the 90s and 2000s don’t always get the same platform to market their music, and sadly many go unaware that they’re still even putting music out. Good music at that. Go check it out! Then go back through their discography and give 112 some play. Take a drive, and turn it up. Did I mention they aim to please?
