God knows there is lots made about, from critics and supporters both, the visual in porn. We have downloadable clips that take mere minutes to watch; DVD’s constantly being produced by companies like Vivid and Wicked; streaming services invading households (Vivid actually has one that has sold over a million subscriptions) and more and more pornstars offering their scenes exclusively on their websites for a monthly fee as well.

But less we forget the visual dirty stuff that comes to us through history, that happens live before us and that we can still enjoy at a convention or two. This week I touch on an example of each of the above.

Now who says dolomite limestone can’t get you hot? Traveling forward a couple of years and a little closer to home-and very close for shortandsweetnyc readers indeed-“live” visual erotica is alive and well. Not that anyone ever had a doubt it would be, but the famous Rick’s CabaretNYC has just been named the Big Apple’s “Best Gentlemen’s Club” by MensMagDaily.com.

In what had to be a very tough assignment, MMD staffers visited several ‘adult’ venues, seeking the very best in visual stimulation as well as atmosphere, food and drink. Lets not forget about conventions for visual naughtiness and the windy city in particular. Chicago is hosting Exxxotica this upcoming weekend. There will be the usual Exxxotica happenings (see here for one of my many reports on N.J. Exxxotica’s) but at this one there will be some first-time visits. Brooklyn’s hours are Friday 7pm – 11pm/Saturday 4pm – 8pm/Sunday 2pm – 6pm Bianca’s are Friday 7pm – 12am Saturday 2pm – 5pm & 7pm – 10pm Sunday 2pm – 6pm.

And MILF-tastic hottie Kendra Lust will make the rounds at Exxxotica Chicago as well, not only meeting fans at the V-Rod Productions booth but also participating in “Tanya Tate’s Great Cougar Hunt” seminar, Saturday July 12th, at 3pm.
