So you have Henry Cavill as a hunky Man of Steel, Jodi Foster looking all ice-cool in the soon-to-be released scifi epic Elysium and certainly enough sweat and steam from the carcapades in Fast & Furious 6, but for the real summer heat, how about these movies that might just slip below the radar in the spate of those big summer spectacles that seem to fill-up our enormo plexes. And yes, I will try to give you a good rundown from time to time on recently released porn from places like Brazzers, Vivid, Wicked and Digital Playground, but how about these mainstream releases that fall into the naughty category.

Iceberg Slim: Portrait of a Pimp: coming out on 7/19. This film examines the life of the notorious pimp and author. It features interviews with artists, scholars, friends and family of Iceberg Slim, a man considered to be at the beginning of ‘Blaxploitation’ films, gangster rap and all things ‘pimpin’.

Aubrey Plaza, who’s gained popularity through the T.V. show Parks and Recreation, plays soon-to-be-college freshman Brandy Clark in the soon-to-be-released The To Do List. This movie seems to be a rarity in that it focuses on young female sexual rites of passage…and passages said female is initiating. It will prove to be sexy as well as fun I am sure. It opens July 26^th.

The infamous Paul Schrader wrote and the just as infamous Lindsay Lohan stars in The Canyons, coming to your movie screen on 8/2. Schrader had more than his share of problems with L.L. on this movie about a tangled woven plot of young adults ‘interacting’ (to say the least) with one another.

Lovelace: X Marks the Legend sees Amanda Seyfried playing the famous porn actress in the biopic. I’m especially interested in seeing Peter Sarsgaard playing the super scumbag Chuck Traynor and Sharon Stone as Linda Lovelace’s mom. This movie comes out the same day-August 9^th-as We’re the Millers,  a movie where Jennifer Aniston shows-off her post 40 rockin’ bod. Brad’s ex plays a stripper on the lam with her make-shift family in this decidedly rather silly romp. It’s not so much a sex comedy, or even a movie about sex, but any time a movie reveals Aniston showing any of bare skin it’s worth mentioning, if not seeing for sure.

The remake of “Crime D’Amour” Passion will be released 8/30. One woman seduces and dominates another in the cutthroat world of a multinational conglomerate. This could prove to be very nasty and sexual indeed.

Just at the end of summer Naomi Watts and Robin Wright star and seduce in another single titled sexy piece, Adore. This is the story of two women who fall into sexual relationships with each other’s…sons. The ultimate double-MILF story with two very sexy women playing those MILF’s.

Thanks for Sharing with Mark Ruffalo, Gwyneth Paltrow and Pink (she of the perfect booty, in my humble opinion) romp around a sexy comedy to be released on September 20…and that’s how far I dare go post summer.

So get out and enjoy more than just some super hero, zombies, big monsters and animation. Go forth and get-off my friends!
