L’Occitane Eau Ravissante

L'Occitane Eau RavissanteThe last thing anyone wants during the hot summer is heavy, whether you’re carrying something substantial (summer seems to be the time to help friends move) or wearing something heavy like makeup, clothes or perfume. Eau Ravissante is part of a trio of L’Occitane’s first fragrance collection ($30, 17 oz.) and it is the answer to all things heavy. The fragrance comes in a beautiful Art Deco bottle as a spray or splash, which can also be used in a bath. Eau Ravissante is a light fragrance with notes of petals, lemon, rose, freesia, amber and subtle musk. While it is true to its scent, it lacks longevity for wear. After an hour, I could no longer smell it. Eau Ravissante is a delightful summertime fragrance, but I am more inclined to use it in a bath or spritz it on a silk scarf.
