Never let it be said that I don’t keep you abreast (or 2) about the very important events happening in this fair city of ours.
There’s big doings a’happening at Vivid’s New York Cabaret this week.
The brand-new state-of-the-art 3-story club at 61 W. 27th Street in Manhattan is holding its New York Pole Dance Competition Finals onMay 31st. There have been ten weeks of preliminary rounds in the contest, featuring over 500 entrants, all hoping to be awarded the grand prize of $5,000 and Trip to the National “Summer Pole Party” at Tootsie’s Cabaret Miami. Saturday night at 11 p.m. (EDT) a “Miss Vivid Cabaret New York Pole Dance Champion” will be crowned and you best be there for this one-of-a-kind event from our friends at Vivid.
Tootsie’s in Miami is home of the tallest stripper pole in North America (30 feet tall) and Vivid’s winner will represent Vivid Cabaret New York in a national pole competition (the Tootsie’s “Summer Pole Party” will be held on July 25th and July 26th, and will award $20,000 in cash prizes) versus Tootsie’s famous pole dancers and competitors from across the country, including winners from Vivid Cabaret Los Angeles, Jaguars, Onyx, and X-T-C club contests.
The Vivid club in NYC is a startlingly attractive wild place (I reported on its opening here if you recall.) It features a 25 foot pole, an outdoor terrace, V.I.P. rooms, a great ‘pub food’ menu and four stages with up-close seating.
