My Favorite Freebies from Jill Zarin’s Lux Lunch

Jill Zarin Lux LunchJill Zarin’s Annual Luxury Luncheon was held on a July weekend at her gorgeous Southampton estate to benefit The Eric Trump Foundation for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Several stars from the Housewives series were there as well as media (like me) and friends to luxuriate by the infinity pool with a glass of wine, take in the views, and shop for a good cause. Of course guests were treated to generous swag bags, and here’s a few of my choicest picks from the lavish loot.

COOLA Organic Liplux Sport & COOLA Classic Sunscreen

The day was a scorcher, and it was classy, considerate, and, well, kinda-cool that sunscreen and lip balm were provided for guests to take from bright blue bowls. The COOLA Classic Sunscreen packets were the perfect size for throwing in a purse, and the Liplux SPF 30 original formula balm is made of 70% certified organic products and comes in an attractive, sporty blue tube.

GrandeLIPS, GrandePRIMER & GrandeMASCARA

The two women running the Grande Naturals booth were happy to inform guests that the company is best known for its lash-lengthening conditioner (and judging by their full, dramatic lashes, the product seems to work). Although I didn’t get my hands on any GrandeLASH-MD, I did score trial sizes of their lash primer, mascara and a sexy gold tube of lip plumper.

Poo~Pourri Tropical Hibiscus & Glitzy Spritz Refillable Sprayer

I actually heard about this product line when one of my girlfriends was complaining about some, er, supplementary smells coming from her abode when her new man slept over. Another knowing woman suggested trying Poo~Pourri, and, from what I’ve heard, things are a bit sweeter at home. The product is made of a blend of natural essential oils that creates a film on top of the water when sprayed into the toilet, trapping odor under the surface. I love the intricate floral design on the spray’s packaging, and the refillable sprayer (for extending the courtesy while on-the-go) even has rhinestones on the lid.
