Don’t ever let it be said that I don’t like to surround myself with lovely ladies. I managed to do so below, talking with Shawna Lenee, Alix Lynx and Remi Ryder about their connection with camming/selling/modeling and furthering their brand on Who’s Online.

Who’s Online is a model’s resource beyond webcams. Models can list a profile for free and link to where they can be found online, while offering a wide variety of personal tangible goods. Video, private show offerings, submission & domination listings, custom offerings and services from adult models of all types, including top-billed porn stars, cam and kink models are available on this massive site that currently enjoys nearly 40,ooo Twitter followers.

Tell me about why you joined Who’s Online?

Shawna: I learned about Who’s Online after reading a press release informing me about their new website. After seeing them promote on Twitter, I decided to join!

Alix: I’m a big advocate for having multiple income streams at all times, and I had recently set up stores on a handful of similar websites, so when I heard about Who’s Online from another cam girl I follow on Twitter, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to create a store on there, too.

Remi: There were two things in particular that sealed the deal with regard to my decision to join. The first thing I loved was the fact that they offer their models the freedom to sell pretty much anything-Skype, Snapchat, videos, clothing, calendars, coffee mugs, keychains-if you can dream it, and it’s not illegal or completely inappropriate, you can probably sell it on the site. The second thing I loved was the model payout percentage; models receive 80% of the listing price of any item that is sold on their site. I also feel it’s important to mention that the site administrators are nothing short of amazing. I am fairly certain that they are the most courteous and delightful people to ever manage an adult website in the history of the universe.

How did you get into webcamming?

Shawna: I have been limited in time available to travel across country to shoot porn scenes so while going to school and being a full-time mom, I have found that webcamming helps me keep a perfect work/life balance. It also helps fund my trips to LA to shoot more scenes and it helps get me around the country to meet all my fans at expos!

Alix: From the first day I logged on, I fell in love with the work-it feels weird for me to call what I do work, because I truly love what I do-and it helped me get my feet wet in performing. After webcamming full time for over a year, I had reached a point in my life where I was ready for a major change, and that change was starting my entire life over across the country to do porn.

Remi: I had a sort of epiphany at 27 about choosing to live my life for myself instead of for others. I honestly cannot recall why I was drawn to the adult industry initially, but once I discovered webcam modeling, everything just seemed to fall into place for me.

Do you ever get down time? And if so what do you like to do when you’re not performing.

Shawna: This question makes me laugh. Nope, I don’t. I wake up and start promoting contests, clips, and other products right away. If I don’t remember to tell my fans what I am doing, they just won’t know. I constantly have to watch leaderboards for online contests. If I want to move up a leaderboard, I need to actually put together a daily online campaign. I promote throughout the day, no matter what I am doing.

Alix: I’m ALWAYS working. I’m kind of a workaholic, and tend to go into hermit mode for long periods of time until something really cool comes up, like a music festival or trip, and then I don’t feel bad dropping everything and taking time off. It’s all about balance.  I absolutely love going to the beach and doing outdoorsy stuff like hiking. I’m a big adrenaline junkie, so I love doing stuff like exploring new places, going to amusement parks, jet skiing, etc.

What’s your goals for 2016? Anything coming down the pike particularly interesting?

Shawna: My goals for 2016 include: winning more contests, producing more content for my fans, hosting more contests for my fans to win, advocating for the views I believe in, and spending a lot of time with my friends and family. I will be flying out to LA & Vegas soon to shoot more boy/girl scenes in one month.

Alix: 2016 is going to be all about me building my brand. I have a few cool projects in the works, but they’re top secret. You’ll have to follow my social media to stay in the loop.

Remi: For as long as I’ve been a webcam model, I have focused nearly all of my energy and attention on camming. This year, I have finally made it my goal to pursue some different opportunities that will diversify my work in the adult entertainment industry. I haven’t decided exactly how I want to go about accomplishing this, but as long as it somehow involves me becoming familiar with an aspect of the industry outside of camming, I’ll be satisfied.
