Haus Collective iPhone cases

Haus Collective is a new, innovative brand of iPhone cases. Handmade in the United States and developed with a 3D scan of an actual crocodile pelt, these cases are made with individuality and quality.

How does one come up with such a differentiated approach and design of a phone case? Timothy Penird, designer and creator of the brand, draws inspiration from nature. He says, ā€œI find a great deal of inspiration from irregular shapes and it just so happens that a lot of them come from things in nature. When I am developing cell phone cases I think about animals, stones and different types of metals. These things usually drum up a plethora of ideas for me to explore further.”

In a world where we are constantly on the move, we are also constantly on our phones. The idea of Haus Collective came from the philosophy that your phone should reflect your personal style. Penird launched the brand from a string of creative projects that sparked his interest.

Haus Collective takes the utility of a phone case and makes it fashion forward and modern. The phone case is not only to protect your phone, but also serves as an art piece. ā€œIf you think about it, nowadays people are rarely seen without a phone in their hand, so why not make it beautiful?ā€ Timothy says.

Unlike most phone cases on the market, Haus Collectiveā€™s cases are impeccably crafted. If you look close enough you can actually see the lines from where the mill carved out the croc shape from the aluminum. They are NOT merely stamped out on an assembly line.

After the holidays, various new designs that incorporate beautiful stones and different textiles will premiere. They are sold online at www.hauscollective.com for the iPhone 4, 4S and 5 at $150.00. They make for great stocking stuffers!
