A short walk from the promenade, and it won’t be long until the bright neon lights of Sea Salt Fish Grill catch your eye. With a rustic charm, it even embodies the look of a local fish market, in the form of a modern casual dining concept. Fresh fish and produce are locally sourced to bring a variety of mouth watering and healthy fish options, in addition there are also several vegan and gluten free options.

A couple of musts include the Citrus Quinoa Kale Salad with Soy Ginger Glazed mahi-mahi ($8.99). With several plates in front of me, my fork kept finding it’s way back into this dish. The portions are rather large and perfect for sharing.  The dish features a tender filet of mahi-mahi, glazed in a spicy sweet sauce, over an assortment of farmer’s market fresh seasonal vegetables and raspberries atop a bed of quinoa and kale, and appropriately accompanied by a light honey Dijon dressing with citrus infused kale. An army of flavors create one great taste!

The handpacked Salmon Burger ($9.99) was by far the biggest surprise; sesame, oils, and spices gave the burger a uniquely addictive taste, without over powering the natural taste and texture of salmon it’s self.

The Churro Waffles (Yeah, you read correctly) featured cinnamon-sugar coated churros in the shapes of waffles. Served with a tart raspberry purée for dipping… or guzzling.

These were just a few of my favorite items, but there are a lot more worth venturing to try, at this new family friendly establishment.
