Oh, Gwen! How Iāve missed you! Itās been a bit of time since weāve heard some music. Seeing you on The Voice regularly has been a tease. But letās not dwell on the what-ifās and focus on the now. Gwen has this uncanny swag and undeniable style both on and off her records. āSend Me a Pictureā has aĀ reggae, popish, too-cool sound and is so relevant to the social media-driven society in which we live. Itās flirty, fun and club-ready. āUsed to Love Youā taps into the truth section of the album, focusing on the bittersweet feelings after a break-up. ā I donāt know why I cry/But I think itās cause I remembered for theĀ first time/Since I hated you/That I used to love you.ā Those are powerful lyrics. One thing I love best about Stephani is her ability to merge styles and still be authentic. āLovableā proves that. Itās trap, a bit R&B and pop still the same. āMe Without Youā is the Gwen I grew up loving! I honestly would have preferred it to a more rock track but, all in all, its a great song. Thereās a real powerful message in it. āGetting Warmerā is catchy with beautiful melodies. It fits her vibe and is perfect for cruising on a summer day. Her vocals are great and complement the track. I could get used to her being back. I hope to see a visual soon!
