Sure, Comic Con is fun and yes, you might see any number of cuties parading around dressed in PVC, but Fetish Con is where the real kinksters go to get their fun…dressing-up and otherwise. I have attended, as well as taught, at a few of these events across the country and they are usually populated by the most friendly folk, all gathered to get their freak on, and fully happy to celebrate everyone else around them doing the same.

It has been my experience that the kinkier the event, the nicer the people, really.

Taking place at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront, this year’s Fetish Con festivities promise personalities like: Danielle Reid, Bella Ink, Tomiko, Jason Ninja, Addie Juniper, Tank, Skyler Grey, with exhibitors Torvea, Leather by Danny, Dr. Clockwork, Princess Dragina, Whipping Stripes, Whiplr & Clips4Sale to name but a few. Stacy Burke will appear as an official Spokes Model, the adorable Jewell Marceau who I happened to have worked with and is just about the nicest lady you might ever meet, as Award Show Hostess, and George Perez as the Super Heroine Showdown Host.

The Trade Show is open every day, there is a Twisted Dungeon on premises for play pretty much all the time, nightly “Pervy” pool parties, the 16^th annual fan photo shoot, the Super Heroine Showdown as well as after parties and the first-ever Fetish Con Awards on the last night.

There will be classes offered like “Japanese Bondage Basics” “Basic Candle Waxing” “The Art of Cupping” and “The Fine Art of Bastinado and Caning” across all three days. I would recommend these for sure, the people these conventions get to teach these classes are usually top notch (if I do say so myself).

If you are anywhere near St. Petersburg, Florida this weekend (Friday the 12-Sunday the 14^th be to exact) check out Fetish Con, you’ll be glad you did.
